About the Producer
Having first met while doing the school runs, Aline & Deena hit it off immediately. Bonded by their Asian roots and Western upbringings, they discovered they both shared a passion for Asian fruits. The lack of dried exotic fruit was quite apparent and they felt it was a gap that had to be filled. Nearly 2 years in the making, Kooky launched in July 2021 with a mission to make exotic fruits more available.

All the fruits are sourced from the best ethical & sustainable farms in Thailand, which adhere to humanitarian guidelines. The fruits are dried into Kooky fruits using renewable energy.

They also believe in the importance of empowering others. Kooky is corporate sponsor to Women for Women International, a charity very closed to their heart, helping women in war-torn countries to gain the tools and knowledge they need to create a brighter future for themselves and their families.
