Our honey has been tested for Total Activity. The TA score refers to the bacteria killing scale, the higher the TA, the greater the antimicrobial strength. Total Activity over 10+ are considered to have substantial antimicrobial properties.
Pure Bosco
Our award winning Bosco honey TA 15+, also known as Forest honey is unique. One of the rarest, most complex honeys in the world. Unlike our other honeys that come from pollen and nectar, instead bees create this Bosco honey with another sweet substance called honeydew. Aphids deposit droplets of honeydew sap that bees collect from the leaves of Alpine trees of Linden, Fir and Oak. It’s this unique process that Bosco is a high energy honey, the richest in minerals and enzymes, thus an excellent supplement for athletes. Producing a Strong, malty like flavour, not as sweet as our other honeys. Beautiful deep dark brown colour. rich, intense aroma. Sought after for its liquidity.
Pure Citrus
Our Citrus blossom honey TA 10 + comes from the bees collecting nectar from various citrus fruit orchards such as oranges, lemons, grapefruits, mandarins, tangerines, limes and many others, to produce its floral, fruity and citrus flavours and fragrance. It is very light yellow cream in colour with a delicate tangy taste. Citrus honey is considered luxurious and exotic.
As for its consistency it naturally crystallizes into a beautiful rich, thick, creamy texture. Hidden within its creamy layer are buried treasures of crispy, crunchy crystals!
Pure Acacia
Our Acacia blossom honey comes from the bees collecting nectar from the Acacia flowers to make Acacia honey with a very mild, candy sweet and floral flavour. There is a beautiful mild floral and vanilla aroma. It is an excellent source of energy! Our Acacia honey is one of the most sought after honeys for the tendency to remain liquid for a long time and for its delicate taste. It never crystallizes in a hard way. Attractive pale colour, close to transparent, a delicate texture almost like liquid glass.
Pure Chestnut
Our Chestnut blossom honey TA12 is a monofloral honey produced by honey bees extracting and converting nectar from the chestnut trees into Chestnut honey. Very dark in colour like the fruit of the chestnut. Distinct intense and persistent flavour, sweet bitterness taste. Sharp unusual aroma. It has a thick, velvety caramel like consistency. Desired for its tendency to remain liquid for a long time. Extremely rich in vitamins, minerals and boasts a high antioxidant content!
