Our Story

We set out to create a gin that shouts out proudly about where it’s from. The name is always greeted with a smile and its hugely memorable. It’s not about stereotypes though. It’s about being recognised as coming from Essex and being exceptionally proud of it.

With the gin, it’s a priority to create products premium in taste that celebrate the beauty of the county and its landscape. In the Signature Gin, the county flower of Essex provides poppy seeds with combine perfectly with eight other carefully selected natural botanicals.

And the inspiration for the orange blossom…. I spent many years living around Valencia in Spain. The sweet scent of orange blossom takes me back to the orange groves. I couldn’t think of a better way to start enjoying the gin than with this beautiful aroma.

The gin is handcrafted using traditional methods. The design is modern. This is celebrating the beauty of Essex with a fresh approach.

Inspired by the beauty of the county and its landscape, the Signature Gin uses poppy seeds from the county flower as one of the key botanicals. They combine perfectly with eight, other carefully selected natural botanicals.

The gin is handcrafted in small batches using time-honoured traditional methods. All our products are brought to you with a lot of love.
